Who:
The Young Advocates of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County and members of the Historic Glenwood Neighborhood Association are hosting the Triangle’s premier event benefitting The Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County.

When:
The 6th annual Appetite 4 Art event will take plane on Friday April 8, 2011 from 8 until 11 p.m. at Marbles Kids Museum in downtown Raleigh.
 
What:
Appetite 4 Art engages Triangle residents in an evening of fun, food, and art, while supporting an organization that impacts more than 4,000 children in Wake County. This event brings hip Triangle residents, young profes­sionals and prominent citizens of the area together to enjoy an upscale event, minus the black-tie!

Another review of the Raleigh Christmas Parade!

The annual Raleigh Christmas Parade took over the streets downtown last Saturday. In the past I found it a little strange that the parade takes place in mid-November and before Thanksgiving, but the tradition has started to grow on me. The weather is a little nicer in November, and with the crush of holiday related responsibilities and travel that kick off after Turkey Day, it is no wonder some feel the need to get a head start on Christmas!


Raleigh Christmas Parade 2010 Pumps Up The Festive Mood

The largest Christmas Parade, namely Raleigh Christmas Parade 2010 was held on Saturday between Washington, D.C. and Atlanta. This 66th annual event was one of the best way to pump up the Christmas spirit, which is just round the corner. The event started at 9:30 in the morning from Hillsborough Street at St. Mary’s Street.
