RALEIGH, N.C. (April 21, 2010) – The Greater Raleigh Merchants Association (GRMA) Board of Directors is pleased to announce its newly elected officers for 2010-2011. President is Steve McLaurin, vice president of McLaurin Parking Company; vice president is Stephen Votino, owner of Golden Oak Real Estate Services; treasurer is John Odom, owner of three Meineke Car Care Centers and member of the Raleigh City Council; and secretary is Robert Courts, Life Sales Representative for Partners Financial Network.
In addition to electing officers, the GRMA board appointed Rob Ruchte, Nancy Thomas, Mark Weldon and Emily Younger Wells to serve on the board. Ruchte is the owner of Third Party Labs, providing top-notch technical services; Thomas is the owner of Nancy Thomas Photo in downtown Raleigh; Wells is co-owner of Frameworks Gallery, a local art and framing business; and Weldon is the news director & jazz radio hoston WSHA 88.9FM.
Other board members are Paula Burke, Pamela Wimbush-Cady, Bonner Gaylord, Clyde Holt, Ed Jones, Roger Krupa, and Van Webb.
The Greater Raleigh Merchants Association has promoted the growth and sustainability of local businesses for almost 70 years.
